WELCOME TO LIGHTHOUSE COMPLEX CARE

We guide patients with complex neurological, immunological, genetic, and metabolic issues to optimal health by providing comprehensive, individualized medical care.

Want to see if we can help you? Take our quiz and find out or go ahead and start our intake process and get scheduled!

Our providers have experience with complex patients both personally and professionally.  After the frustrations we experienced as patients, we are committed to creating a positive experience for families seeking expert care. We listen, we believe you, and we are committed to your wellness.

We believe that every family in need should have access to care. To help make this a reality, we have a Life Raft Mobile Clinic for our patients with autism to establish care with us even if they can't travel to Denver.

At Lighthouse, we strive for collaborative care with our patients and their other providers. Our approach utilizes the best of both Functional Medicine and Traditional Medicine to maximize results. We support health and quality of life through compassionate care, a whole-body approach, and on-going patient education.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE SAYING

I cried tears of joy after our first appointment at Lighthouse because it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders.  The providers at LCC were able to figure out more about my daughter in a few short weeks than a handful of doctors could figure out in two years.  They’re so unbelievably comprehensive and caring. -Kellee

WHAT WE PROVIDE

CARE COORDINATION

Our professionals analyze your specific situation and develop a care plan to address your biggest concerns first.  We also help you prepare for and maximize your visits with other providers. Then we help you prioritize and integrate the plans from other professionals into an individualized plan.

INFUSION THERAPIES

If it's needed as part of your care plan our center can provide a variety of infusion therapies ranging from Leucovorin to IVIG.  We are working to establish relationships to provide access to treatments such as plasmapheresis as well.

PATIENT EDUCATION

There is a lot to learn to successfully manage a complex condition.  There isn't enough time in a standard office visit to gain a full understanding.  To fill this gap, we provide educational resources for patients and caregivers in several ways. We want to help you gain knowledge and feel empowered to make choices that improve wellness and quality of life.

FAQ

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Yes, we take some types of insurance and are working to expand the insurances we accept as our practice expands. We currently accept Medicare, Colorado Medicaid, and TriCare as well as United Health Care, BlueCross Blue Shield (with prior authorization), Aetna, and Cigna.

I DON'T LIVE IN COLORADO. CAN YOU STILL HELP ME?

Yes! We can serve out-of-state patients. The law which required that your initial intake visit took place in our office has been lifted due to COVID-19 so we can now practice telemedicine via phone or video call.

We also have limited consultations available for international patients. Contact us for details.

HOW MUCH DOES A VISIT COST?

If we accept your insurance, it's likely that your plan will cover the cost of your visits and some testing. To view our appointment fees for both insurance and cash pay patients please click here.

HOW CAN I BECOME A PATIENT?

We are currently accepting patients, but have limited slots for intake appointments. To start the intake process please visit our Future Patient page and submit all of the forms listed there. There are detailed instructions on how to submit everything you need to get started. Once everything is submitted we will be in touch to schedule you if you are a fit for our practice.

WILL LIGHTHOUSE REPLACE MY PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER?

No, you will still maintain your primary care provider for your usual checkups and to get care for acute illnesses or injuries. We specialize in treating and managing your complex condition (or conditions) in coordination with your other providers.

WHAT IS A COMPLEX CARE FEE?

At Lighthouse Complex Care, our model is different from other medical practices. We use a comprehensive, personalized medicine approach for every patient which includes greater patient access to our providers and more time spent by our providers on each case outside of your appointments. To be able to offer you this level of care, every patient at Lighthouse Complex Care is responsible for a monthly complex care fee although it is often covered by their insurance.
